The register of wills is responsible for the estates of county residents who pass away. The register determines the validity of wills, administers estates for those who have no wills, collects inheritance taxes and fees, and maintains related documents.
Application GuidelinesIf you would like to be included on the ballot for county office, follow these three steps. 1) Contact the county elections office. The elections office can provide information about the availability of filing papers and answer questions regarding nominating petitions and other ballot procedures. 2) Arrange to pick up required paperwork. 3) Return your completed paperwork within the designated filing window. The filing deadline shown is for third party and independent candidates. Major party candidates must meet earlier deadlines to participate in the primary.
